Scope of works

The Woodside Pluto LNG Project comprises two 'greenfield' on-shore sites denoted as Site A and Site B. An existing haul road, running in an approximately north-south orientation, divides the two Sites: Site A is located adjacent the west side of this road and Site B is adjacent the east side.

Site B will contain the main process units and utilities associated with the LNG plant and Site A will contain storage tanks and associated utilities, import and export pipelines.

Construction activities

Construction activites include:

  • Concrete pad foundations with pedestals for support to pre-assembled multi-tier structural steel piperacks extending from jetty to tank farm carrying export pipelines
  • Pipetrack concrete sleeper/footing support to feed gas (import) pipelines, including pre-cast and cast in-situ sleepers extending from shoreline to haul road crossing
  • Pre-cast concrete lined cable trench from piperack to sub-station No. 7 interface
  • Jetty approach box culvert
  • Jetty approach retaining walls
  • Complete jetty, approach earthworks following construction of box culvent and retaining walls
