As part of Killarnée's ongoing commitment to support community youth organisations and more especially those that offer backing or programmes that subsquently present opportunities to young adults with disabilities we would like to showcase our endeavours by way of our open day. Paul has invested quite heavily to this project both physically and financially to ensure all are happy in their new home. The weather was perfect for the day, with a massive turn out, including a special award being presented to Paul & Elma for their constant and ongoing support to Variety ' The Childrens Charity.' The Variety Youth Choir and Shine Performance Group performed on the day leaving everyone either speechless, or in tears with their incredible performance!
Thanks to all involved, a great day was had by all!
Being run for the first time in 2010, Killarnée Targa South West was a non-competitive, timed event which also provided existing crews with the opportunity to shakedown vehicles and get more time in the car to test various options.
Killarnée Targa South West was also the debut of the new Killarnée sponsored team, Team Green Motorsport. Team Manager Mitch Thompson had this to say about the first event of 2010 for Team Green.

Long time sponsor of the Variety Youth Choir, Killarnée, has been recognised with a 2010 Corporate Award from Variety International.
Killarnée was one of just six companies worldwide to receive the Award, presented for outstanding contribution to Variety.
Since pledging their support in 2006, Killarnée’s Paul and Elma Thompson have gone above and beyond in their commitment to the Choir, funding uniforms, musical and dance tuition, a DVD and album recording just to name a few.
This month, Killarnée will give the Choir a new home, after purpose building a rehearsal and recording studio within their Malaga premises. It is this sense of selfishness and generosity that makes Killarnée most worthy of this award.
